Charity begins at home
In lieu of Christmas cards, Prest Financial Services made a donation to long standing client, Anthony Heaton, Managing Director of Mike India 5 (surveillance for insurance industry). In Spring 2007, he is attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the World at 5,896 metres (19,344 ft). The purpose of this expedition is not only to achieve a personal goal but mainly to raise funds to send a terminally ill child on a trip of a lifetime to Florida. Good luck Anthony! In addition, Prest has agreed to sponsor, Lloyd Hotel Bowling Club in Chorlton, Manchester. Lloyd Hotel is a forward thinking bowling club and its’ record over the years is second to none. Lloyd are the current British Team Champions – having just broken the World Record for the longest game of continuous outdoor bowls (as featured on BBC North West, Granada Reports and Channel M) and at this moment in time the money raised for Francis House, a local charity, stands at £12K ... with more to come!
